The 33rd annual Writers' Workshop was held in the Washington, D.C. area on Sunday, October 4, 2009. A record number of attendees turned out for the annual fall workshop. The workshop, which began in 1976, has expanded over three decades - from a very small gathering of immigration leader-activists into a major assembly of activists, writers, editors, consultants, and public officials.
