What the Bible Really Says about Immigration - video by Prof. James Hoffmeier - Social Contract Writers Workshop October 2, 2011
The Social Contract Press
Trinity Evangelical Divinity School Professor James Hoffmeier discusses what the Bible really says about immigration. Surprisingly, historical evidence indicates that borders were important and that immigration was restricted in earlier cultures. Hoffmeier points out that these Mid-East cultures had specific terms for outsiders and immigrants. He notes that the religious sanctuary city concept of biblical times was completely different from the concept of sanctuary cities for illegal aliens as implemented in the United States today.
